A ‘ZO’MECOMING FOR BEN--Ben Zobrist spent the first nine seasons of his big league career wearing the uniform of the Tampa Bay Rays and tonight he dresses in the visiting clubhouse for the first time...acquired by the Royals on July 28 from the Athletics, Zobrist was on the disabled list with a left knee injury when Oakland visited St. Pete in late-May...the versatile switch-hitter had a pair of hits yesterday as the DH vs. Baltimore and is now batting .330 (31-for-94) in 26 games as a Royal... he has been most impressive when playing in Kauffman Stadium, hitting .429 (18-for-42) in 13 games in his new home, while reaching base at a .571 clip with 14 walks to go with his 18 hits.
