 21 schools were inspected between March and July 2019.  One school remained as requires improvement however improvements were evident: o Leaders, governors and trustees are on a transformational journey to improve the school. o The proportion of pupils, including disadvantaged pupils, who achieve a standard or strong pass in English and mathematics is good and improving. o Most middle leaders have a strong focus on improving teaching and learning. They receive effective ongoing training from senior leaders. o There is a strong culture of safeguarding in the school, coupled with effective pastoral support.  5 schools improved from requires improvement to good.

 11 schools remained good.  Two schools improved from good to outstanding.  One school moved from outstanding to good however the following points were noted: o The headteacher and the governing body have successfully addressed previous leadership issues that contributed to a decline in standards. They have ensured that the school now provides a good quality of education. o Leaders have taken effective action to ensure that the quality of teaching, learning and assessment has improved and is now good. o Leaders provide an interesting and broad curriculum that contributes effectively to pupils’ development. o Governors have an accurate view of standards in the school. They challenge leaders strongly and are ambitious for further improvement. o There is a strong culture of safeguarding in the school. Pupils feel safe and know how to stay safe.  One school was judged outstanding at their first inspection.
