It may be time to take the next step and gain both theological knowledge and ministerial practice in preparation to serve as a leader in the parish or a pastoral care setting. Some of our students are working to enrich their personal knowledge of the faith and want to gain experience in ministry. The Lay Pastoral Ministry Program offers both theology and ministry training and experience.
Non-Degreed Certificate program in Pastoral Ministry is offered at our satellite location, St. Ignatius Loyola Parish in Monfort Heights on Saturdays.
Certificate at the Masters level classes take place at The Athenaeum of Ohio, 6616 Beechmont Avenue, on weeknights and Saturdays.

The Catholic Church is hemorrhaging young people. Half of young Americans (50% exactly) who were raised Catholic no longer identify as Catholic today. Four out of five Catholics who left the Church left before age 23.
