19 THINGS WE'LL ALWAYS REMEMBER

Launching our first voyage together 1n September, 1953. Having 75 crewmen on our maiden voyage. Having Donald Weibel as president, Donald Rolf as vice-president, LeAnn Franck as secretary, and Betty Bentz as treasurer to pilot the ship following the map drawn by Mr. Koenig and Mr. Thoreson. Electing Shirley Herrmann and Orland Feltman to be our homecoming attendants. Initiation on homecoming. Getting acquainted with all the new faces. Gztting used to the shockingly different routine of high school. How unreasonably short the three minutes between classes seemed. The parties we had with the sophomores and the 7th and 8th grades.

Coming back for our second voyage which started in September, 1954, with 75 crew•nen. Initiating the freshmen. Hoving Mary Jane Schepers and Wayne Muel ich represent our class as homecom"ng attendants. Being piloted by Joseph Fritz, president; Wayne Muelich, vice-president; Bruce Ranzinger, secretary; Donald Rolf, treasurer. Being guided by Mr. A.,derson and Mr. Braun. Feeling I ike old hands at the high school routine.

Our third voyage, which started in September, 1955, with 71 mates. Being piloted by Donald Weibel, president; Lois Klemp, vice-president; Barbara Graupmann, secretary; and Orland Fe Itman, treasurer. Electing Wayne Muelich to the student council. Our advisors, Mr. Turula and Miss Hendrickson. Our homecoming attendants, Clarice Wolter and Donald Rolf.

Putting on the class play "Room for o.,e More, II directed by Mr. Galvin. Finding that the three minutes between classes gets mMe I iberal every year. Ordering class rings. The long hours of planning and preparation for the banquet. The banquet where w~ entl3rtained the seniors and the parties afterward.

The day of September 4, 1956, when 62 of us Iaunched our fourth and final voyage together under the leadership of Joseph Fritz, president; Donald Rolf, vice president; and Janice Karels, secretary-treasurer. Hoving Phyllis Wischnack and Bruce Ranzinger elected delegated to the student council. The able guidance of Mr. Maurine and Mr. Swedelius. The exciting night when Orland Feltman and Valeria Pawelk were crowned our homecoming king and queen. Our class play, "The Perfect Idiot," which was also directed by Mr. Galvin. Ordering announcements, pic:tures, calling cards, etc. Our class trip. The beautiful prom given for us by the juniors. The happiness of safely reaching port on graduation. The sadness of saying "Bon voyage " as we each board our own ship to start on the great voyage of life.
