TO ST MAARTEN, SABA & ST KITTS

PCR TEST WITHIN 72 HOURS FOR ST MAARTEN PCR TEST WITHIN 72 HOURS FOR ST KITTS To enter St Maarten, will need a negative PCR (Nasopharyngeal) test performed within 72 hours prior to departure to (last leg in case of connecting flights). This is also applicable to visitors who have been vaccinated. This needs to be done in of origin. Rapid tests are not accepted. Children under 10 are exempted from this requirement. Alternatively, travelers originating from USA and can do an antigen test for the SARS-COV-2 virus obtained from a naso-pharyngeal swab performed within 48 hours prior to departure to Sint Maarten. All FDA approved antigen tests using a nasopharyngeal sample including those with Emergency Use Authorization only (EUA) are accepted. Tests performed outside of the 48 hours period and home tests will not be accepted. Explorer Ventures requires to all guests who have been already on-island for more than a week to get another Covid test before boarding Explorer II (PCR = 72 hours / Antigen = 48 hours prior departure). A daily health reporting is required to all visitors. Please check travel advisories upon arrival. Intermittent restrictions have been in place for travel between Dutch and French side of the island).

Saba is open for diving only, even though land tours aren't possible.

St Kitts borders are open, but all visitors are required to bring a negative PCR test performed within 72 hours prior to departure to St Kitts. 7 days mandatory quarantine in “Travel approved” certified hotel properties (reduced to 4 days for vaccinated visitors). Mandatory PCR test required on day 4 (vaccinated visitors only), day 7 and day 14. A daily health reporting is required to all visitors with the SKN COVID-19 tracing mobile app.

INSURANCE & EHAS HEALTH APPLICATION FORM All visitors are required to provide the following prior to travel:  Insurance which covers COVID-19 medical costs and full hospitalization, doctor’s visits, prescription and air ambulance. Since January 10th, 2021, purchasing the St.Maarten Visitors Protection Plan Insurance is mandatory for all visitors. Please follow the guidelines provided while you complete your Pre-Authorization.  Completed EHAS HEALTH APPLICATION FORM to obtain your Travel Pre-Authorization to St Maarten. To be completed within 72 hours prior to arrival with test results. Processing takes 6-8 hours.  Completed ENTRY FORM to obtain your Travel-Pre-Authorization to St Kitts. To be completed within 72 hours prior to arrival with test results. Upon arrival, all visitors must fill in a health questionnaire.

MANDATORY MASK USE Face mask use is mandatory in all public areas, restaurants and shops, both indoors and outdoors. Hand sanitizer may not be available everywhere while on land, so please bring your own masks that fully cover your nose and mouth (not gaiters, bandannas, etc.).

OPTIONAL LAND TOURS You can visit any place in the Dutch part of St Maarten. Rules to be confirmed for St Kitts. Saba will remain closed to visitors until further notice. Therefore, optional land excursions are not possible for the time being.

TEMPERATURE CHECK You will have your temperature checked upon your arrival at St Maarten and St Kitts airports . Several temperature checks will be done while onboard.
