2 | P a g e Thank you to ALL our Ambassadors! You are a critical component to not only the overall success of this meeting but to the future success of the meetings industry in San Francisco.

Hosting the PCMA Convening Leaders event means San Francisco is poised to book significant future business. Among PCMA’s more than 7000 members, 78 percent are key decision-makers for their organization; 40 percent are professionals in associations with 10,000-plus members and 23 percent are corporate or independent planner professionals. The meeting is a tremendous sales opportunity for San Francisco to showcase its attractions and accessibility to these key decision makers. We will have the opportunity to host tours and site inspections for attendees during the meeting. With an estimated 5,000 attendees and 12,500 room nights booked, we are confident the city’s return on investment will be significant to fill the pipeline for years to come.

As an Ambassador, you are representing this city on every level as we show these attendees why they should bring their meetings to San Francisco. The knowledge and hospitality that you convey and the relationships that you build can and will make a difference for our city. Now it is time to execute and we cannot do that without all of you! Thank you for the time and energy you are committing to this effort. You will be the first and last impression!

Sincerely,

Joe D’Alessandro President and CEO San Francisco Travel
