very promising professional career. Leverette was the heavyweight on the last WCAP team and one of its unquestioned leaders both in the ring and out. His advice and counsel outside the ring was a help to many of the young fighters and his example in the ring was second to none. He will continue to help the WCAP program as an assistant boxing coach so there will be a number of fighters that will gain from his knowledge as they attempt to represent the Army in boxing ventures. Leverette said he is looking forward to his new challenge of getting boxers ready for top- level competition. Good luck to him and great news for the Army boxing program that he will be here. On the bright side, WCAP wrestlers have been making some great news in recent competition. Dremiel Byers and Iris Smith earned berths on the United States team that will compete in the World championships in Budapest, Hungary, Sept. 27 through Oct. 3. Monday, Byers and Smith could be joined by Tina George who will compete in a wrestle off to determine if she or her competitor will join the team at the Olympic Training Center in a best two- of-three match. The first match will begin at 9 a.m. and the second match will begin at 3 p.m. If a third match is necessary, it will take place 30 minutes after the second match. Glenn Garrison and James Johnson are alternates for the World Team event. There are also 10 athletes that will represent the WCAP wrestling team at the World Military Championships in Lithuania Aug. 17 through 19. Byers will be joined by Neil Podak, Eric
