The 18th China International Fair for Investment & Trade (CIFIT), Leadership of the CIFIT Organizing Committee approved by the State Council of the People’s Republic of China, is sponsored by China’s Ministry of Commerce (MOFCOM) and co-sponsored by UNCTAD, UNIDO, WTO, OECD, IFC and WAIPA. The themed events of “Guest Country of Honor”, “Guest Province of Honor” and “Country Pavilion Day” will also be staged.

Besides 100 seminars on hot economic topics and investment briefings, MOFCOM and China Central Television will jointly host the International MOFCOM Investment Forum (IIF), the flagship forum held in conjunction with the CIFIT. IIF is the premier channel for China to release authoritative investment information and policies and a major platform for national governments to coordinate investment mechanisms and boost investment cooperation. Moreover, MOFCOM will release the “China FDI Index” (namely “CIFIT Index”) and UNCTAD will issue the World Investment Report, the World Trade Development Report and other authoritative documents.
