International Gymnastics Hall of Fame International Gymnastics Hall of Fame International Gymnastics Hall of Fame a fost fondata de catre ziaristul American Glenn M. Sundby, care a acordat spatii largi promovarii ideii de a-I onora pe cei care au contribuit remarcabil, la dezvoltarea gimnasticii pe plan mondial. Dupa ce o lunga perioada de timp a avut sediul la Oceanside, localitate situate in California, International Gymnastics Hall of Fame s-a mutat la Oklahoma, in 1995, avand sediul in cadrul Muzeului de Stiinte din Oklahoma. Anual sunt primiti, in cadrtul unei Ceremonii speciale, noi membri, pe baza cristeriilor de selectie, IGHF acordand, de asemenea, si Ordinul International de Merit unor personalitati de marca din lumea gimnasticii. Primul membru al acestei prestigioase institutii a gimnasticii i a fost cunoscuta gimnasta Olga Korbut (1988), numarul total al acestora ajungand in 2010 la 72.
