2018 Elections The ELM Action Fund PAC, along with our Independent Expenditure PAC, endorses candidates that value combating climate change and protecting our land, water, and public health. We post social media ads, send mailings, make phone calls, and knock on doors to educate voters about the environmental candidates in their district. In 2018 we endorsed 58 candidates and 46 won their races. 3,190 doors Over 300,000 knocked and 26,400 pieces voters reached by 10,302 phone of mail sent calls made digital ads We helped elect promising newcomers to open seats. Representative-elect David LeBoeuf won in the 17th Worcester district with a clear environmental message. Representative-elect Tami Gouveia will take the seat left vacant by the retirement Elect of Representative Cory Atkins, continuing a strong environmental legacy for the 14th Middlesex district. We successfully defended Representative Joan Meschino, Representative Natalie Higgins, Senator Jamie Eldridge, and Senator Anne Gobi against challengers, helping them retain their seats and Defend allowing them to continue being strong allies in the State House. We helped an ELM Action Fund endorsed candidate flip the 18th Essex district, defeating a vocal opponent of environmental progress.
