  • Miley Cyrus Bjuder På Smakprov Från Kommande Albumet "Younger Now"
Nya albumet ”Younger Now” tar bland upp temat ”no one stays the same”, en textrad som finns med i singeln “Younger Now”. “This writing process has been a really different experience because I’ve never put out an album this way,” säger Miley. “People have been asking me, ‘is this like a re-introduction of yourself?’ But it’s not that at all. Actually, it’s more like, I am this person who embraces all my past selves. This album is the most me for right now that I can be.” Younger Now - låtlista: 1. Younger Now 2. Malibu 3. Rainbowland ft Dolly Parton 4. Week Without You 5. Miss You So Much 6. I Would Die For You 7. Thinkin’ 8.

Firefighters and emer- gency personnel from across Allegany County quickly responded to see a portion of our business district fully engulfed in flames. By the time they were able to put out the fire, a large building was a heap of smoldering debris. The building housed three businesses and several student apartments. Talk around town quickly focused on how “all was lost”. That was the bad news. What also occurred that morning was a remarkable outpouring of community support and compassion. Not only did the long list of emergency responders do their job amazingly well and to save the adjoining properties, but countless others stepped up to help those affected by the fire. Last April at its annual awards ceremony, the Alfred Community Coalition announced our intention to make a small gesture to signify that on one October day a remarkable response was made by our community, by planting a tree in the coming weeks in honor of the community and all of those who helped.

now albums download 20 Great Albums You Can (Legally) Download for Free Right Now. You may have read last week that David Byrne and St. Vincent have followed up their excellent Love This Giant album from last year with a new EP entitled Brass Tactics . Apart from the fact that it contains a previously unreleased track, the most notable thing about the EP is that they’re giving it away for free, making it the latest addition to an ever-increasing volume of music that you can download — legally! — for free right now. There’s so much, in fact, that it’s kind of overwhelming. Here’s a selection of 20 records that Flavorwire recommends you add to your collection right now. David Byrne and St. Vincent — Brass Tactics. So, let’s start at the beginning: this EP from David Byrne and St. Vincent, which as per their website comprises “one song that didn’t make it on the record, a couple of energized remixes of some of the album tunes and two live tracks of the sort of more familiar material we do in the set.” Le1f — Fly Zone. The world is still waiting for Le1f’s official debut album, but in the meantime, this most excellent mixtape from January this year will do very nicely indeed — get it via his Soundcloud page. His similarly awesome Dark York mixtape from last year is also still available for free download — you can get it here. The-Dream — Climax. Here’s something brand new — this was only released over the weekend.

  • In Late 2015, After a Whirlwind Two Years That Included Back-To-Back Album Releases and Intensive Touring, Singer/Songwriter Miley Cyrus Was Ready for a Break
In late 2015, after a whirlwind two years that included back-to-back album releases and intensive touring, singer/songwriter Miley Cyrus was ready for a break. The Nashville- bred artist had unleashed her Grammy Award-nominated Bangerz in fall 2013, then followed that platinum-selling #1 hit with the fantastically warped and hyper- experimental Miley Cyrus & Her Dead Petz. With Bangerz accompanied by a sold-out international tour of elaborate proportions, Cyrus considered hiding away from the world for a while. “I just wanted to chill for a bit,” she recalls. “I thought I would take a year off and, like, go chill in the jungle. But it didn’t happen. I just started writing again.” That first burst of writing sparked a creative breakthrough that would soon lead to Cyrus’s most personal and uncompromising album yet. Stripped-back but intricately textured, free-spirited but introspective, Younger Now sees the 24-year-old breaking new ground and reaching a new level of self-possession in her artistry. Along with crafting every lyric and melody on her own, Cyrus worked with just one collaborator for her sixth studio album: writer/producer Oren Yoel, whose previous work includes Bangerz’ opening number “Adore You” and Dead Petz’ “Space Bootz” and “BB Talk,” among other tracks. Built on a lucidly arranged, guitar-driven sound, Younger Now bears a homegrown quality that’s perfectly suited to the intimacy of each song. With the album aptly centering on Cyrus’s unforgettable voice—and her vocal presence at its most nuanced and powerful—her lyrics reveal a raw vulnerability partly inspired by a deep-rooted love of country legends like Johnny Cash, Emmylou Harris, and her own godmother, Dolly Parton.
