Dr. Erkan DEMİRKAN Çorum 2018 ÖNSÖZ Bir sporcunun başarıya ulaşması için antrenman faktörlerini sıralı biçimde takip etmesi gerekmekte olduğu belirtilmektedir. Bunlar; sırasıyla fiziksel hazırlık, teknik hazırlık, taktik hazırlık, tekniksel ve taktiksel hataları düzeltmek ve teorik hazırlık dönemleri olduğu belirtilmektedir. Güreşte fiziksel uygunluk düzeyi başarı ile paraleldir. İstenilen başarının sağlanabilmesi için performans ve uygunluk durumu göz önünde bulundurulmalıdır. Sporcunun aerobik ve anaerobik düzeyde enerjiyi kullanma kapasitesi, kas kuvveti, dayanıklılığı, sinir kas fonksiyonu, kişinin motivasyonu ve taktiklerin oluşturduğu psikolojik faktörler sporda devamlılığın oluşabilmesi için sporcuya kazandırılması gerektiği belirtilmektedir. Bu çalışma da Dünya güreşinde üst basamaklarda kendine yer bulmuş olan Rusya, Azerbaycan, Gürcistan, Türkiye, Amerika ve İran ülkelerinin sporcuların sporda devamlılıklarını ve başarı düzeyleri incelenmiştir. ‘’Farklı ülkelerdeki elit güreşçilerin sportif başarıda devamlılıklarının incelenmesi’’ konulu bu çalışma olimpik düzeyde gerçekleştirilen serbest ve grekoromen stil güreşçilerin yıldızlar, gençler ve büyükler düzeyinde kıta, dünya ve olimpiyat şampiyonalarında başarı elde etmiş olan sporcuların sporda devamlılıkları, araştırmaya konu olan altı ülkenin şampiyona, stil, kategori karşılaştırmaları, devamlılığı olan sporcuların kilogram takipleri, ülkelerin nüfusuna göre güreşte başarıları, Yine bu ülkelerin kıta, dünya ve olimpiyat şampiyonalarında başarı karşılaştırılması yapılmıştır. During his prep and college careers, Gable compiled an unbelievable record of 182-1. He was undefeated in 64 prep matches and was 118-1 at Iowa State. Dan won three state titles at Waterloo West and two NCAA titles at Iowa State. He was a three-time All American and a three-time Big Eight champion for the Cyclones. Gable earned national fame in 1972 when he won a gold medal at the Summer Olympics. On the way to the gold, Gable never gave up a point to any of his opponents. After completing his college eligibility, Gable added three titles from the Pan-American Games, the Tbilisi Tournament, and the World Championships. Gable won an unprecedented six Midlands championships and was the meet’s outstanding wrestler five times. As the University of Iowa’s all-time winningest coach, Dan Gable compiled a career record of 355-21-5, all at Iowa. He coached 152 All-Americans, 45 national Champions, 106 Big Ten Champions and 10 Olympians, including four gold medalists. Zadick won the 142-pound NCAA championship as a senior at Iowa in 1996. He helped Iowa win back-to-back NCAA team titles in 1995 and 1996, and went on to win a gold medal at the 2006 World Championships. He is currently USA Wrestling’s National Freestyle Coach, and in 2017 was named National Olympic Coach of the Year. Zadick led the United States men's freestyle team to the 2017 world title in his first year as head coach. It was the United States' first team title in 22 years.     ISSN: 2618 – 5911 Türkiye Spor Bilimleri Dergisi 2020; 4(2);124-132 DOI: 10.32706/tusbid.830945 Araştırma Makalesi 1956 İstanbul Dünya Kupası Güreş Müsabakalarında Türkiye Mehmet YILDIZ1 Özbay GÜVEN2 Efdal Utku GÜVEN3 Öz Bu çalışmanın amacı, 1956 yılında İstanbul’da düzenlenen Dünya Kupası Serbest ve Greko-Romen Güreş Şampiyonalarında Türk Güreş Millî Takımlarının elde ettiği başarıları değerlendirmektir. Bu amaçla nitel araştırma yöntemlerinden döküman incelemesi yöntemi kullanılmıştır. Bulgulara ulaşmak amacıyla 1956 yılında İstanbul’da düzenlenen Dünya Kupası’na yönelik detaylı literatür taraması yapılmış ve elde edilen veriler üzerinden içerik analizi yapılmıştır. Araştırma sonuçlarına göre Türk Serbest Güreş Millî Takımı sporcuları dört altın, iki gümüş ve iki bronz madalya kazanarak 42 puan toplamış ve dönemin en güçlü takımlarından olan Rus güreş takımını geride bırakarak takım halinde birinci olmuştur. Türk Grekoromen Güreş Millî Takımı sporcuları ise iki altın, üç gümüş ve bir bronz madalya kazanarak 36,5 puan toplayarak takım halinde ikinci olarak önemli bir başarıya imza atmışlardır. Türk güreş millî takımlarının elde ettiği bu başarılar Dünya Kupası Güreş Şampiyonasının ilk kez 1956 yılında İstanbul’da düzenlenmiş olması ve ilk kez düzenlenen böyle bir organizasyonda elde edilen başarılar açısından hem Türk güreş tarihi hem de dünya güreş tarihinde son derece önemli olarak görülmektedir. Bu organizasyon ayrıca Türk güreşçiler Hüseyin Akbaş ve Mustafa Dağıstanlı’nın 1954 yılında Tokyo’da düzenlenen Dünya Serbest Güreş Şampiyonası’ndan sonra 1956 yılında İstanbul’da düzenlenen Dünya Kupası’nda da altın madalya kazanma başarısını gösterdiği bir organizasyon olmuştur.
