3 PROTECTION

And to make driving safer, illumination at the rear of the XJ consists of two rows of light-emitting diodes (LEDs) that respond more quickly than ordinary incandescent bulbs, so the driver following your XJ can see your brake lights illuminate precious milliseconds sooner.

The XJ is available with a 320-watt sound system with AM/FM radio, in dash CD player and 6-disc CD changer designed in conjunction with Alpine. A world leader in car audio, Alpine has been especially innovative in its application of digital sound technology.

The Alpine amplifier in the XJ uses Digital Signal Processing (DSP) to help recreate sound exactly as the recording artists intended: EQ settings let you make adjustments so that wherever you are seated, you’ll experience faithful reproduction of sound.
