ORDER (WEALTH TAX)

Subject: - JURISDICTION OF WEALTH TAX AUTHORITIES, REGIONAL TAX OFFICE, .

In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 9 read with clauses (a), (b) and (c) of sub-section (1) of section 10 of repealed Wealth Tax Act, 1963 (hereinafter referred to as the said Act) and section 3 of Finance Act, 2003 and in suppression of all previous orders in respect of jurisdiction, the Federal Board of Revenue is pleased to direct that Income Tax authorities of Regional Tax Office, Sukkur, as specified in column (2) of table below, shall also perform functions, as Wealth Tax authorities, Regional Tax Office, Sukkur, as specified in column (3) of table below, under the said Act, in respect of persons or classes of persons or areas (excluding persons or classes of persons or areas assigned to any other RTO/LTU) falling within the Civil Districts of Sukkur, , , Shahdad Kot Kambar, Shikarpur, , Jacobabad, Nowshero Feroz and Kashmore of Province of .

2. It shall take immediate effect.
