As we approach another summer, Howard County Recreation & Parks will continue to offer the award-winning camp experiences families have come to rely on. While COVID-19 remains a local and global concern, each of our 2021 summer camps will follow strict safety guidelines that prioritize daily health checks, small group sizes, physical distancing, and face mask use. For 2021, we are splitting our camp guide into two guides. In the pages of this guide, you will find outdoor camps, sports camps and select online camps. This includesAdventure & Outdoor, Nature, History & Archaeology and Sports programs. Campers can learn a new skill with Archery Camp (page 4), uncover the past with Archaeology Field School (page 6) County Executive Calvin Ball or get up close with ’s animal ambassadors in the new Animal Heroes Camp (page 7). Young athletes can enjoy new and returning camps dedicated to , golf, , and more. Best of all, parents can choose from full or half day camp options or bring the fun home with exciting take-home kits and online camps. A second, separate guide dedicated to our indoor camps will be sent to households later this year. We wish you a happy and healthy summer in Howard County.
