Gray Line Hawai‘i/Polynesian Adventure Tours, Hawai‘i’s largest tour company, has announced that it will offer three new tours on O‘ahu on its fleet of seven open-air double decker tour buses beginning May 10, 2013. The tour operator also announced that it will phase out its existing AlohaBus tours beginning today, as it transitions the current buses to Gray Line Hawai‘i branded Double Decker Tour buses.

“The new tours on our open-air double decker buses will better enhance the island tour experience for the hundreds of thousands of customers and visitors to Hawai‘i that we serve every year,” said Gray Line Hawaii/Polynesian Adventure Tours Managing Director Brandon Briggs. “Visitors to our islands want to see more of what we have to offer, and these three new tours will take them to many of O‘ahu’s most treasured landmarks and historic places.”

Holders of current AlohaBus passes will be able to use them for Gray Line Hawai‘i double decker bus tours until December 31, 2013. All reservations booked on AlohaBus prior to April 26, 2013 can be exchanged for the new Gray Line Hawai‘i double decker tours or refunded in full. South Shore Sea Cliffs Adventure Tour This tour offers unparalleled views along the sea cliffs and coastline of O’ahu; from Hanauma Bay and Sandy Beach to Makapu‘u. The open views and gusts of ocean breeze you can experience are simply spectacular. On clear days, the islands of Moloka‘i, Lāna‘i and even Maui are visible and unobstructed atop these double deckers. Leaving from Waikīkī at 10:30 a.m. daily, this tour takes riders past the historic Diamond Head Crater, through Kahala, and out to Hanauma Bay with a lunch stop at Sea Life Park before returning back in to at 2:30 p.m. If you’re lucky, you may even spot a whale or two during the winter months. The Tours & Activities by Hilton Grand Vacations kiosk is located on level 1 of Building C between bebe and The Apple Store.

D ennis Hall, Corporate Director of IT Dennis Hall has been promoted to corporate director of IT and will oversee a team that is responsible for supporting all computer systems at Aqua's Home Office, as well as at all of their hotels throughout Hawaii.

Dennis has been with Aqua since 2006 and was most recently manager of IT.Prior to joining Aqua's team, Hall was a network specialist with Affordable Home Furnishings in Louisiana, where he maintained the networks and servers for 24 retail furniture stores. Dennis also worked for the Lafayette Parish School System, working with Title 1 schools as a computer technician.

Paul Yuen, Manager of IT Paul Yuen has been promoted to manager of IT and will work closely with Hall in running Aqua's IT department. Yuen joined Aqua's team in September 2011 and was most recently network administrator.

Prior to working with Aqua, Yuen worked for Integration Technologies as a network administrator focusing on small business IT solutions. He also served as a managing engineer for etechs Hawaii where he maintained IT solutions for clients such as Hawaii Laborers Training Union, Maui Federal Credit Union and Honolulu Medical Group. Yuen has an associates degree from Heald College and multiple IT certifications including Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP), Microsoft Systems Engineer (MCSE) and Microsoft Certified Technology Specialist (MCTS).

Hawaiian Increases American Samoa Service for Summer Third Weekly Flight to Operate June 19 – August 21

Hawaiian Airlines has announced its expanded flight schedule to accommodate increased demand for travel between Honolulu and Pago Pago during the summer with the addition of a third flight per week between the two cities starting June 19. The seasonal third flight will operate on Wednesdays through August 21, 2013.

In addition, Hawaiian announced that its Thursday flight between Honolulu and Pago Pago will operate on Fridays from June 21 through August 16, which will give Pago Pago service on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays for the summer season.

For the summer period, Hawaiian Flight 1465 will depart from Honolulu on Wednesdays at 4:40 p.m. and arrive in Pago Pago at 9:20 p.m. The return Flight 1466 will depart Pago Pago Wednesdays at 11:20 p.m. and arrive in Honolulu at 5:40 a.m. the following morning.

Hawaiian’s Flight 465 / 466 round trip, currently operated on Mondays and Thursdays, will operate Mondays and Fridays at the same times as Flight 1465 / 1466 for the summer season.
