no soy yo. I am not me. I constantly develop, change, transform. An existential concept that alienates yet deeply connects the music and the musician, the artists and the audience, the creator and the created.
NOSOYO is an indie-pop duo of Donata Kamarz and Daim de Rijke, reaching out to the world from Berlin, Germany. Two souls passionate about the most important things in life – music, art, travel and a dream to connect with kindred spirits across the world.

Donata is the ideasmith, most of the time. A dreamer in constant motion, perpetually concocting ideas even when she sleeps. Daim is the realisator, who takes the ideas apart, experiments with them and gives them a whole new dimension. This is the dynamic that has ensured that NOSOYO always produces fresh sounds for the urban wanderers of the world.
NOSOYO is currently working with one of Germany’s leading producers and winner of ‘Best Producer’ for work with Wir Sind Helden, Patrick Majer. Majer produced and mixed NOSOYO’s first album ‘Resonate’ and has also put the brand under his label Freudenhaus Recordings.

The Sound Influenced by the greats, from Nina Simone to Sia, NOSOYO’s sound shifts from delicate indie pop hymns to hypnotic electro folk with heavy synth bass lines and layered vocals. Their work is also a treasure cove for the lyrically inclined audience with profound thoughts and love struck notions weaving never-ending journeys in every mind.

About Resonate When there is change, there is movement. And where there is movement, there is resonance. It is realization and revelation that led to the naming of NO- SOYO’s new album ‘Resonate’. A compilation that took two years to finish, Resonate holds within it the adventures of Donata and Daim all the way from the steady love of Amsterdam to the volatile streets of Berlin.
