50TH Anniversary Celebration Preparation Set to Begin!

In November of 2021, St. Louis de Montfort will begin its celebration of 50 years as a Parish - Thanks be to God!

Our celebration will begin on November of 2021 and we will celebrate this mile- stone throughout the year. We have come a long way since our humble beginnings almost 50 years ago. Do you remember when we celebrated Mass in the local Tavern, Movie theatre, Mod building or the original white Church? Many have passed through our doors and we have celebrated Sunday Mass, baptisms, first communions, confirmations, graduations, anniversaries and funerals. We have gathered as a parish family in happy celebrations and in times of deepest sorrow.

50th Anniversary Committee Forming – We need your help!

We plan on having many exciting activities and events to celebrate our 50th anni- versary. Many hands make light work. We are forming a committee to help plan each of the events. Please call the parish office at 744-8566 or email chel- [email protected] with your name, phone number and email address. We will be in- touch soon and look forward to your help in making this a wonderful celebration!

This month marks the 6th Anniversary of Pope Francis encyclical, Laudato Si´.

Pope Francis’ message reiterates the Church’s call for responsible stewardship of crea- tion and calling all to ensure that our methods of production and consumption honor our Creator, respect the Lord’s command to care for creation, and serve the needs of the human family (especially the poorest and most vulnerable).

Your support of the Catholic Ministries Appeal supports programs dedicated to pro- tecting the sanctity of life at all stages. Also, you will become a safety net, in the name of Jesus Christ, for those persons who have no one else to turn to for assistance. Write your donation check to “Catholic Ministries Appeal” with that specific marking on your envelope and on the check: you are also helping us to get closer to our Parish Goal. Thank you for your generosity and care. Father Chris
