LIEUTENANT LAYNE R. WROBLEWSKI AIR FORCE SECTION VICE PRESIDENT CANDIDATE 2021-2023

ROA Members—

I am running for Air Force Section Vice Presidency at the 2021-National Convention and I would like your support. Most of you already know me as the National Treasurer. I have been proactive throughout our organization both at the state and national level. I visit with our Congressional leaders as well as our service leaders regularly. I am plugged into the financial aspects of our association and the operational concerns of the Air Section. I am a 30+ year Air Force Reservist and a ROA Life Member since 2001. I recognize the importance of our organization and the roles it plays in Reservists’ lives. I have held a variety of positions in the Air Force Reserve, most recently as the 434th Deputy Mission Support Group Commander at Grissom Air Reserve Base in Peru, . I currently sit on the National Budget & Finance as well as Board of Trustees and Insurance & Finance Committees. I am running for two-reasons. First, I want to be at the front of the lines in the advocacy of Reserve issues. The current generation of Reservists has different priorities and unique challenges. It is important that your EXCOM deliver messages and convey highpoints that address the issues important to Reservists. I want to be a part of that message. Second, I want to be a part of the transformation of ROA into the most vibrant, robust organization the Reserve component has to offer. I can do that through my regular interaction with command officers, national councilmembers across the nation, and on Capitol Hill. My agenda has been straightforward since becoming Executive Committeeman years ago: A—I have been a staunch Advocate of the Air Force Reserve. As your AF VP I will be relentless in evaluating every decision based upon how it impacts the Air Force Reserve. I am unapologetic about ensuring the Air Force Reservist has a voice in our association. I will work tirelessly with the other AF EXCOM members to support the mission of the Air Force Reserve. D—I have (and will continue to) Develop an Association that involves ALL Reserve forces. I have recruited enlisted members into Indiana’s leadership to further ROA’s advocacy programs and enhance the importance of collaborative teamwork necessary to create lift for our association. S—I will work with Jonathan Sih to Strengthen our relationship with AFRC with the drive to bring the AFRC Leaders’ conference back to ROA’s national convention. I will continue to work with National Council Members as much as possible to convey to the EXCOM their needs and the pulse of their departments. I will do whatever necessary to build rapport among the two. I would hope you consider my active engagement and near 100% participation in all EXCOM meetings and calls since being on the National Board. I need your support and ask that you review my flyer & credentials and vote for
