ACCESIBILITY / TRANSPORT

Geneva International Airport is a 30 to 60-minute flight time from all major hubs in Western Europe. It is also one of the major hubs of the low cost airline EasyJet that flies from all capitals of Europe.

The train ride from the airport to Lausanne takes approximately 45 minutes and by car 35 minutes.

Public transportation in Lausanne is excellent. The Metro M2 is the backbone to transportation network in Lausanne. It can take you from the lakeside to the top of Lausanne, 5 minutes away from the WAEC in just 20 minutes. A five minute bus ride from the terminals will take competitors to the venues of the North and South clusters (excluding the Field venue).

Busses (50 seaters) will transport competitors to all the venues early morning and after the close of competitions.

Shuttle busses (19 seaters) will be available to transport competitors during the day to the North and South Metro terminals.

Ècole Hôtelière de Lausanne
