• Promote awareness and understanding of the ShakeAlert Earthquake Early Warning System. • Gather professionals from various sectors to provide advice, input, and wisdom about how to successfully implement ShakeAlert in that sector. This includes recruiting new ShakeAlert partners. • Build partnerships intra- and inter- sector.

• Specifically for Schools and other Learning Environments:

• Develop a holistic approach to ShakeAlert implementation in preK-12 schools, free- choice learning environments (e.g. museums), child care centers, and other learning environments. (Use Putting Down Roots [care, do, know] as an example). • Integrate, leverage, learn from existing materials and programs that promote school safety and resilience (e.g. REMS, FEMA p-1000, etc.) into ShakeAlert communication, education, outreach, and training. • Foster participation of the education sector (e.g. people at this Symposium) in JCCEO activities and events. • Broaden the JCCEO community.
