Adam SECOND HALF STANDINGS Witter (2007), Hector Sanchez (2011), Dillon Dobson (2017) and Gio Brusa (2018) have also accomplished the feat. Hawkins’ five hits also tied a single-game team record. South Division W-L PCT GB Joins Giants: Pitcher Pat Venditte was added to San Jose’s roster today. Venditte, 34, R. Cucamonga * 36-26 .581 - is a switch pitcher who throws both right-handed and left-handed. He signed with San Francisco as a Lake Elsinore 34-28 .548 2.0 Lancaster 32-30 .516 4.0 free agent last offseason and has made two relief appearances in the major leagues this year (3.1 IP, Inland Empire 25-37 .403 11.0 6 ER). Venditte has spent the majority of the season with Triple-A Sacramento, where he’s fashioned a 3.19 ERA in 42 1/3 innings (17 BB, 53 SO, .188 opp. AVG). He last pitched in a game on July 1 * First half winner (has been on Sacramento’s Temporary Inactive List since July 5). BROADCAST Hector Borg At The Helm: Hector Borg was named of the San Jose Giants on July 17 replacing Bill Hayes, who resigned four days earlier. Borg, 34, had been serving as the fundamentals Radio: sjgiants.com (Joe Ritzo) for the Giants’ Dominican Summer League team this season prior to his appointment in San All games aired on club’s official Jose. Last year, Borg was the manager for the Salem-Keizer Volcanoes (Giants Short-Season website and Mobile App affiliate). He also managed the Giants’ Arizona Rookie League team in 2017. Borg played three

seasons in the San Francisco farm system from 2004-06. San Jose is 19-17 since Borg took over as
