TV audience of Ekstraklasa higher than In terms of TV ratings, T-Mobile Ekstraklasa matches are far more popular than several top available in Poland. The TV-audience during Ekstraklasa games is four times bigger than during Premier League and Primiera Division. Comparing to French or Italian leagues statistics show, that Polish league is ten times more popular. In total, more than 32 million people have seen this season’s games of Ekstraklasa, and for one match there is an average of 182 thousands viewers. - The gap between Ekstraklasa and other leagues ratings is huge, which show a great demand for rivalry between the best Polish clubs – says Łukasz Łazarewicz, Marketing and Sales Director in Ekstraklasa S. A. – We are still looking for new solutions. The match in 20th gameweek between Lech Poznań and Wisła Kraków was the first ever game in Poland shown live and free of charge as advertisement on Onet.pl website. During 90 minutes we had more than 300 thousands users – adds Mr. Łazarewicz. It’s worth to remember, that 4 of this season’s games will be broadcasted live by Polish Television. Fist of them, a match between Wisła Kraków and Legia Warszawa has been watched by 1,7 million viewers. Next transmission are planned for March, April and May of next year. Twice a week after “Wiadomości” on Polish TV there is Polish league chronicle “T-Mobile Ekstraklasa GOL”. On average every program has audience around 2,9 million. *** The TV-signal producer from T-Mobile Ekstraklasa games for all broadcasters is LIVE PARK, the Ekstraklasa S. A. subsidiary company. During the season all Professional League transmissions are produced in full High Definition (HD). Every game is recorded by at least 10 cameras, including one of Super Slow Motion type.
