In 2016 we were awarded Ofsted ‘Good’ with inspectors recognising our innovative approaches to teaching and success in preparing students for work. In the same year, our new £10m Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths (STEM) centre was opened at Sheepen Road, as part of a £20m three-year redevelopment programme across our Colchester and Braintree campuses. At Braintree we will shortly be completing a whole campus transformation programme, which will see us providing a wide range of courses from brand new facilities from September 2019. This guide aims to provide you with the information you need to help you make the right choice about your next steps – but it cannot tell you everything! What are Study Programmes? Study Programmes are our name for our full-time courses. They combine a number of diferent components to equip you with a set of well-rounded skills for the future. Every programme incorporates a vocational qualifcation (for example an Extended Diploma), development of Great English and Maths (GEM) and work experience.
