History Since its foundation, the company has been continuously growing. In 1970, the company developed a complete method for drinking water processing, thus enlarging its product range in the service industry for agricultural and environmental technology. In 1977, the first serial products for public services left the assembly line at Velbert. Already at that time, innovative ideas were tested in co-operation with customers and specialists. Doppstadt developed and patented special equipment and expanded. In 1990, the distribution company was founded in order to support the company and its meanwhile worldwide activities. In 1992, the know how in the field of hauling technol- ogy could be enlarged by the purchase of Förderanlagen Calbe GmbH, called Doppstadt Calbe GmbH from 1995 on.
