Teen Paddleboard CONGRATULATIONS BILL!

Upon his return from the 90th CMAA World Conference on Club Management and Club Business in Orlando, Florida, The Board of Governor’s would like to take a moment to congratulate our own Bill Robinson on his official distinction as Certified Club Manager. Taste the World This distinction is considered to be the hallmark of professionalism in club management as Wine Dinner far back as 1965. It is a tremendous accomplishment, and one not many can say they’ve achieved. Bill joins the ranks of only 68 managers within the New England Club Managers Association who Yoga Workshop have earned the Certified Club Manager designation, and one of only two active managers who with Ashley currently hold the title in the state of Maine. To illustrate the scope of the dedication such an accolade denotes, in order for one to become a Certified Club Manager, one must hold professional membership status in the Club Manager’s Association of America (CMAA) for a minimum of six years, attain 300 education credits, and successfully complete extensive courses in Business Management Institute I, II, III, and an elective. They then must pass an exam that consists of 400 questions covering ten competency areas. Bill began his tenure here at The Woodlands in 2005, becoming General Manager in 2007. “As of January 2017, to both recognize his recent achievement and to more accurately reflect the Paddleboard Yoga title used within the CMAA for his job description, the Board made a decision to add Chief Operating Officer to Bill’s title.” We the Board, and all of us as a Club, are incredibly fortunate to be able to utilize his vast expertise and his drive to continue to elevate The Woodlands Club above all others.
