| I AM RYERSON |

The#23 Jayden I AM FrederickRYERSON campaign launched in 2017 to raise funds to send children from priority neighbourhoods to our outstanding Ryerson Summer Day Camps. Our goal is to make sure that every child has the opportunity to experience the joy, friendship, and adventure of going to camp. The money raised from donations and purchases of I AM RYERSON apparel goes directly towards sending children to camp. For every $250 raised, we can send one child to camp and create a lasting impression on their lives. We are proud to say that in our first year we reached our goal of sending 100 kids to camp in the summer of 2018. For the 2018-19 season, I AM RYERSON 2.0 is looking to impact even more children, with the goal of sending 500 children to camp next summer. | ALPHABETICAL ROSTER | This year, the Rams Care program egistered as an official charity at the Scotiabank Waterfront Marathon, with sponsorship and donations towards a runner going directly to sending kids to camp.

RYERSONRAMS.CAMEDIA GUIDE WOMEN’SWE ARE BASKETBALL RAMS 77 | 2018-19 SEASON RECAP |

SEASON SUMMARY

The 2018-19 season was all about #TheJourneyTo... for the Ryerson Rams women’s basketball team. The Rams took each game at a time, knowing they would be playing on the national championship stage come March. The season started well, with the team winning their own Darcel Wright Memorial Classic tournament for the first time ever, and then starting the season 9-0. The second half of the season brought its challenges against rivals from Ottawa and Carleton and the team finished with a 17-6 record to place third in the OUA east division. Ryerson cruised through the opening round of the playoffs, defeating Laurentian 85-40 to set up a quarter-final game with Carleton. The Rams ran into a Ravens team that played the best defence of their season, limiting Ryerson to just 49 points. Though the Rams don’t enter the national championship as OUA champions, their goal remains the same - to play their best basketball at the Final 8.
