H C K Café Saarein is in 1978 opgezet als de Andreaspenning van de gemeente H E U O Amsterdam voor haar inzet voor de
vrouwencafé, door een collectief van tien R B C
vrouwen. Zij namen het café over van Saar lhbti-emancipatie. H -
en Rein en zo kwam dit befaamde café aan - F Na de sluiting van café Sappho en Vivelavie O zijn naam. In 1999 nam Dia Roozemond R H E N het café over en veranderde het deurbeleid.
