Dr. Vandana Shiva is a physicist, philosopher, international renowned activist for biodiversity, environmental activist, author Multipurpose and ecofeminist. She presents the fundamental connection between human rights and the protection of the environment and offers solutions to critical problems posed by the effects of Room globalization and climate change on the poorest and most populous nations. In her Minx Auerbach lecture, Shiva will discuss the connection between economic “reform” and the Swain Student growing violence against women as an international feminist issue.
