Directions to Puydarrieux
o If you are coming from either England or Holland, head for Paris.
o Just before Paris (near Charles de Gaulle airport) follow the east ringroad signs to Bordeaux and Orleans (A10).
o Continue following signs for Bordeaux to get around Paris.
o After Paris, take the following route: Orleans – Chateauroux – Limoges – Cahors – Montauban – Toulouse.
o At Montauban you can choose to go cross country (shorter) or continue on the motorway past Toulouse before doubling back (faster?).
☞ Cross country route o Leave the motorway at Montauban and take the D928 to Auch.
o Follow the D928 until Aubiet, here you take the N124 to Auch.
o In Auch, follow the signs for Tarbes. Exiting Auch, at a roundabout, take the road for Masseube – Lannemezan (D929).
o Follow the D929 until Castelnau-Magnoac (± 40kms)
o In Castelnau-Magnoac take the D632 to Trie-sur-Baïse.
o Drive through Puntous, and 7 kms further, after the Ferme Auberge (on your right), take the left turn to Puydarrieux (D37) Be careful! The turn is on a steep climbing bend.
o After just over 1.7 km on a narrow road, turn right at a small crossroads towards the church of Puydarrieux (chemin de Lacave).
o After 200 metres turn right into a no through road. This is chemin de Lartigue. (Marked by a small cross with a cockerel on top). Our house is at the end of the lane. Soyez la Bienvenue!
☞ Motorway route o Continue past Montauban on the A62 to Toulouse.
o Follow the signs to Tarbes to get around Toulouse, you’ll end up on the A64.
o After about 120 kms, leave the motorway at Lannemezan, go into the centre and follow signs for D939 to Galan and Trie-sur-Baïse.
o In Galan, at the second square, turn left to Trie-sur-Baïse (D939).
o Just before Puydarrieux, the road dips down and around a small lake. Just after that, take the road to the right to Sadournin.
o 100 metres further, turn left at a small crossroads. T o 100 metres further turn right into the no through road. This is chemin de Lartigue. (Marked by a small cross with a cockerel on top). Our house is at the end of the lane. Soyez la bienvenue! ☞ From Trie-sur-Baïse
o In Trie-sur-Baïse take the D632 to Tarbes.
o Just as you are leaving Trie, you’ll pass an Elan petrol station on your left. A few hundred meters further, there is a small road to the left, signposted Puydarrieux, Lannemezan (D939). Take it.
o After a 4.5 Km windy road (be careful!) you come to Puydarrieux. Approximately 400 metres after the church, up on your right, there is a warning roadsign “Sortie de Vehicules” just before a bend to the right. Turn left between the two sand- coloured houses, being careful of oncoming traffic.
o 100 metres further turn left into the no through road. This is chemin de Lartigue. (Marked by a small cross with a cockerel on top). Our house is at the end of the lane. Soyez la bienvenue!
