INDUSTRY AND PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE I have over 20 years of progressive international management experience in diverse industries with a primary focus on operational & expense management roles in travel, meetings, events and corporate services. Leveraging my main passion and foundation in travel, my focus has been on building and transforming global businesses in diverse and unrelated fields and driving profitable results, balancing spend reduction with required service levels, risk mitigation and talent optimization. I have been lucky to have worked for and with some of the most incredible women and men in our industry and I have learned from each of them. Currently I am fortunate to be working at BNY Mellon with many of the best global corporate services professionals and vendor partners from around the world. Together we lead travel, corporate aircraft, dozens of restaurants and executive dining rooms, mail and distribution print services, and several other operational and risk and control functions. We partner with over 600 vendor/allied companies who deliver best in class service that is balanced with duty of care, safe and effective end-user experience and controlled costs.

GBTA DIRECT MEMBER PLATFORM STATEMENT There are several wonderful and qualified candidates who have also been nominated for the single open Direct role on the board. After seeing this list, I considered declining my nomination knowing that GBTA would be in good hands with so many options.

However, it is important to me to be part of the solution for the future of our industry and of GBTA. I decided to pursue your vote so that I too can serve and roll up my sleeves. While there is much work to be done, my passion and my focus is on two key items:

1. RETURN TO THE ROAD AND RETURN TO WORK: Get companies and travelers back on the road and our unemployed industry colleagues back to work.

2. FINANCIAL RECOVERY OF THE INDUSTRY: Support the financial recovery of the travel industry, our allied partners and GBTA.

RETURN TO THE ROAD AND RETURN TO WORK:

Whether you are a job holder or a job seeker, I believe we are all potentially a moment away from moving to the other role. Those of us fortunate enough to have jobs in this economic market, should pay it forward and do something each day to help others, and GBTA is uniquely positioned to take the lead. 1. GBTA represents over $1 trillion in spend in the business travel industry and the Leadership and Board have exceptional access and influence with government relations and advocacy programs. I would like to leverage this spending power to further develop packages to help unemployed travel professionals get back to work, ideally within our industry, and extend free access to the association and programs to help them get there. 2. We need to engage with CEO’s in the industry through allied and buyer companies to shift to voicing the importance of business travel. We are moving from a health crisis to the industry recovery crisis. Many of my corporate services colleagues agree that the return to the office will mark the return of business travel. We need to do all possible to influence both.

FINANCIAL RECOVERY OF THE TRAVEL INDUSTRY:

Employment is an important part of recovery and the financial health of our industry partners and GBTA is equally important – which goes beyond employment. Many of our allied member companies are in financial distress. It is critical that we develop plans to support and improve organizational health, which is integrally related to financial health, and that we rebuild the industry and its’ vital role in driving business outcomes

1. We need to align with other associations on broader advocacy work for the return of business travel. We need a narrative that talks about jobs and financial contribution to taxes and the multiplier effect to the countries and to big cities 2. We need to think about how to develop a recruitment program for older workers and women. While this is not an issue unique to one country, in March 2021, CNN reported the economic downturn caused by the virus has hit women hard across all industries in the U.S.: In December, all 140,000 of the jobs lost in the U.S. were those held by women, with the vast majority being women of color. We need to engage all working generations across the industry to solve this. 3. We have a labor crisis in terms of the front-line workers and need to rebuild confidence in our industry as a sustainable career choice.

I do not have all the answers and I am learning every day.

And I believe that there is still work to be done to inspire and earn the trust, full engagement and commercial commitment of the members and sponsors of GBTA.

I served on the Bylaw committee and one of the proposed changes that I strongly supported was that we are ALL equal members – Allied and Directs – and that no member is less than the other.

If I am elected to the board, I plan to serve all members and to work together with the board and GBTA leaders to put a plan in place to get us all back on the road, to strengthen GBTA and to get our industry back to work.

Since March 2020, I have dedicated 1-2 hours every day, 7 days a week to support unemployed industry friends and colleagues to get back to work. It doesn’t take long for each of us to make a difference for someone else. Regardless if you choose to vote for me or not, I hope you will join me NOW in doing something for an unemployed person every day. Here are four ways you can support our unemployed friends and colleagues today: • Share and like open roles • Take a moment to check in on someone who is unemployed • Offer to provide input on a CV, social media presence or practice interviewing • Provide an introduction to a company or hiring manager
