1 New Office and Workshop space Clerk and Full Council Proposed new offices space at the former youth club site at Reids Piece to accommodate all staff including grounds maintenance – design/management and build 2 New Burial Land Clerk, Neil Hooper, Burials Land purchased at Church End Purton (2018) as proposed burial land. Ongoing work on the transition, if approved, to Committee and Council new burial land to include planning and design 3 Verge Project Clerk, Deputy Clerk and Full Church Street verge alongside the Purton War Memorial and Village Centre - working with the school on a project Council suitable for a war memorial 4 CCTV Project Clerk To install a new CCTV system at the Village Hall due to anti social behaviour. 5 Dementia Friendly Community Clerk, Vicky McKerrow To continue the promotion of well being and awareness within Purton including businesses, schools and community facilities to include a Dementia Week in Purton planned for 2019 6 New Finger Post Sign Clerk/Kevin Law The traditional white/black striped finger post has deteriorate and will not be replaced by Council and as a village it is important to keep the traditional items along with new and therefore a new wooden sign at Church End/Manor Hill will be provided at cost by the Parish Council 7 Venture Park, Dogridge Clerk, Deputy Clerk and Rec The Council has agreed to precept for a revamp of the last play park under their remit at Venture Play, Dogridge Committee Clerk to initiate discussion with regarding the land and transfer of assets 8 Highways / Road Safety Management Clerk and Full Council Traffic calming/lineage scheme for /Station Road Temporary road closure from Pedestrian Crossing on Church Street Speed Indicator device consideration pending future CIL investment Co-op Triangle road layout proposals 9 Youth Club Provision Clerk and Full Council To continue to provide youth club services within Purton and consider a new year group within the 2020-21 budget 10 Purton Institute and Village Hall Clerk Mechanisation of Institute Clock to safeguard users from accessing small spaces when the building is not in use.
