Coquitlam, BC – Award winning country singer, Randy Travis helped launch the revival of traditional with his smooth voice and simple songs. From his 1985 breakthrough hit, “” to his 2009 single, “Turn It Around,” Travis has demonstrated flawless taste in lyrics and immense finesse as a vocal stylist. His record sales have exceeded 25 million and he has received a total of six Grammy Awards. In addition, three of his performances – “On The Other Hand” (1986), “Forever and Ever Amen” (1987) and “Three Wooden Crosses” (2003) – earned him awards from the Country Music Association.

In recent years, Travis has turned to Gospel music winning seven Dove Awards from the Gospel Music Association. He is also an accomplished actor having starred in such films as Frank & Jesse (1995) opposite Rob Lowe and Bill Paxton and Fire Down Below (1997) which starred Steven Seagal and Kris Kristofferson. He has also appeared on several television shows including ABC’s Matlock and NBC’s Frasier.

Just this past spring, Travis’ latest studio album, Around the Bend won for “Country Album of the Year” at the 2009 GMA Dove Awards. This year also saw the release of I Told You So: The Ultimate Hits of Randy Travis … a two-disc set of his greatest hits. Randy Travis will be performing for one show only at Boulevard Casino’s Red Robinson Show Theatre in April, 2010.
