Continue E on A56 to reach 'Ye Olde Park to reach the road at Smithy Gate. Turn E Grid Ref: SJ740880 No. 3'. Go S on the path opposite 'Ye Olde No. for 20m then N to return to Dunham Town and Sat Nav: N53.3878 W2.3918 3' to cross fields before bearing E along a track the start. (11/2 km) With thanks to Eric Lindsey to pass between several glass houses before reaching Arthill Farm. Continue E across the road passing on the N edge of woodland. Go N across a field to stile. Go N to track and then N on Spode Green Lane to reach the A56. (21/2 km)
