Ministry of Public Health
The Ministry of Public Health announced the arrival of the fifth shipment of "Pfizer" vaccine to Lebanon this afternoon, containing 36,270 thousand vaccines, thus Lebanon has received 170,820 vaccines to date.
The Ministry of Public Health reported that PCR examinations had been completed for flights that arrived in Beirut and were conducted at the airport on 10 and 11 March 2021, where twenty-six (26) positive cases were recorded, and they were distributed as follows:

Lebanese Army Forces
- The army units continue to distribute social aid (400,000 Lebanese pounds) to families with limited income in all Lebanese territories. - Distributing food aid in various Lebanese regions through the CIMIC Office. - Supporting the security services in implementing the decisions issued by the Council of Ministers. - Breaking up gatherings and directing citizens to the necessity to adhere to preventive measures
General Directorate of Internal Security Forces
Coinciding with the phase of gradually easing the closure restrictions, the General Directorate of Internal Security Forces began, periodically and intensively, to direct periodically from its operational units to inspect the institutions that have reopened their doors, to ensure the extent of their commitment to the necessary and safe procedures to start work, so that the number of these institutions reached 2930 / On various Lebanese lands (banks, supermarkets, maintenance companies, factories, and others ...). It stated that the elements of the Internal Security Forces are taking appropriate measures during the detection, such as ensuring the correct registration of these institutions, their employees through the official platform, as well as the results of their PCR examinations, and if they are duly listed, through the aforementioned platform. And make sure that the institutions take all preventive measures.

General Decisions / Announcements
The meeting of the Committee on Preventive Measures and Measures to Confront the Coronavirus on March 12, 2021 issued the following recommendations:
• Forming a team that includes representatives of the Committee on Preventive Measures and Measures to confront the Coronavirus, and representatives of the restaurants sector and the Casino of Lebanon to establish a mechanism for the safe reopening of these sectors in line with the current epidemiological reality.
• Forming a working group that includes representatives from each of the Committee for Follow-up of Preventive Measures and Measures to Confront the Coronavirus and from the Ministry of Public Health and Central Inspection with the aim of evaluating and improving the work of the IMPACT vaccine platform
The Minister of Education and Higher Education announced that it has been agreed to open schools starting from March 22, 2021, gradually, starting from the ranks of official certificates, where the financial, technical and health requirements for achieving safe return to schools are studied with the Prime Minister and the Minister of Public Health.
The Director General of the National Social Security Fund issued a media note No. 661 on 3/12/2021 according to which he decided to amend the tariff for laboratory examination for Coronavirus PCR to become 100 thousand Lebanese pounds instead of 150 thousand pounds as a maximum for all health service providers, based on studies Prepared by the fund management on the cost of the CORONA examination, and in implementation of the decision of the Board of Directors' Bureau No. 849, taken in the session No. 904 of March 10, 2021, where it was stressed the need to adhere to the new tariff under the risk of taking appropriate penalties against the violators.
A statement was issued by the National Operations Room for Disaster Management on 3/7/2021, supplementing the executive statements of Resolution No. 96 / M on 6/2/2021 related to updating the strategy to confront the Coronavirus and the stages of gradual easing of the closure restrictions, particularly in terms of starting the third phase scheduled for 08 / 03/2021 and according to the data issued on 2/2021 and 2/3/2021, which are still valid, as the institutions that do not need to be registered on the platform have been modified without the citizens having to obtain permission to go to them and which will be eligible to reopen according to their ability To comply with all mandatory measures listed in the link https://bit.ly/3dUFQ8f which includes:
• Departments of the Ministry of Education and Higher Education and the Car Registration Authority with all its branches and services: You do not need permission from the platform, but citizens must obtain permission from the platform to go to it.
• Offices (institutions / companies), hotels, hair salons: they do not require a work permit, but citizens must obtain permission to go to them.
• Professionals (carpentry, plumbing, etc.): They do not need permission or anyone who wants to go to it. (The employer must conduct PCR tests for workers and present them upon request)
The Ministry of Education and Higher Education issued Decision No. 67 / M / 2021 regarding the suspension of distance teaching work in all schools, high schools, and public and private institutes from the morning of Monday 8 March 2021 until the evening of Sunday 14 March 2021.

A statement was issued by the National Operations Room for Disaster Management on 2/28/2021, supplementing the executive statements of Resolution No. 96 / M on 6/2/2021 related to updating the strategy to confront the Coronavirus and the stages of gradually easing the closure restrictions, in which it was decided:
• That the ban on exit and entry remains in effect from 20:00 until 5:00, with compulsory wearing of the muzzle when traveling and wandering.
• Gatherings on beaches and sidewalks are prohibited (except for individual sports), and public parks remain closed.
• All religious and social gatherings and events are prohibited.
• The number of 3 persons with the driver is implicitly adhered to when transporting by public cars and 50% of the capacity of the rest of public transport, with the obligation to wear the muzzle.
• Workers in sectors permitted to work 24 hours are excluded from the provisions of Clause No. 1 above, as they can move within the time of the curfew according to their working hours.
• Determine the institutions and sectors that citizens must obtain permission to go to through the electronic platform https://covid.pcm.gpv.lb.
• Specifying the institutions that should be registered on the platform https://bit.ly/3dUFQ8fwithout citizens having to obtain permission from the platform.
• Determine the institutions that are not required to be registered on the platform, and citizens do not have to obtain permission to go to them.
