Walking with honesty and with courage, Walking with love and respect And concern for the feelings of others. May you talk to God this summer And every day And in every situation Talking with God means.. Praying words of praise for the beauty of creation, Saying prayers of thanks for friends and good times, Asking God's help in all your deci- sions, Expressing sorrow when you have failed. May you talk with God every day. Amen (Author: Unknown)

HISTORY IN THE MAKING One hundred and thirty seven years ago a herdsman from the townland of Drom- doolaghty in Knockanean, Doora was murdered as he was on his way home from Sunday mass at the Francis- can Friary in Ennis. The man John Doolaghty who lived in Dromdoolaghty with his wife and family lost his life through a local land agitation dispute. Another local man Francie Hynes, known to the murdered man was charged with the murder and executed in September 1882. It was the belief that the executed man was executed in the wrong. A great grand daughter of the murdered man Catherine Delahunty living in Newzeland and well on in years has written a book on the story. The book will be launched in the grove bar Roslevan on Tuesday night 9th of July at 9.00pm by Dr Ciaran O'Murchada . There is an open invitation to everyone to attend and hear old recordings and see photographs never before exhibited on the story. Information from Joe Queally 0876260301
