Welcome to CASCADIA! Never has there been a better time for a film festival like CASCADIA— one of only two in the country focusing on films directed by women. This year 25 exceptional films were chosen with the help of 30 reviewers throughout the world. With many of the selected filmmakers attending, CASCADIA also has many free events open to the public including educational panel discussions and the highly acclaimed Script Studio with film industry professionals providing feedback to aspiring screenwriters. We will also be showcasing films by emerging women directors from New York’s as well as films directed by or about indigenous women.
