II. NEWS ITEMS -
(a) The Colored state Teachers' Association will hold its Annual Session at San Antonio, November 28-30, 1935. Guest speakers are -
professor Ira DeA. Reid, Atlanta University, Atlanta, Georgia Dr. M. 0. Bousfield, Chicago, Illinois
It is customary to excuse the members of the Association who are on the faculty to attend this meeting, professor G. W. Reeves is the authorized solicitor for memberships.
(b) Dr. Frederick Douglas Patterson, graduate of prairie View, was inaugurated as the third Principal of Tuskegee Institute on October 28, in the presence of a large gathering of notable Citizens and Educators from every section of the Nation.
(c) Work will begin on the Gu^st House very soon.
(d) The Annual Session of the Association of Negro Colleges and Secondary schools will be held in Nashville, Tennessee, November 14-15, 1935.
(e) The Conference of presidents of Negro Land Grant Colleges will convene in Washington, D. C.., November 18-20, 1935.
