FURTHER NOTICE

THE COUNCIL OF THE BOROUGH OF (ALL ROADS WITHIN MILTON KEYNES – HIGHWAY MAINTENANCE) (TEMPORARY CLOSURE) ORDER 2021

FURTHER NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN in relation to a temporary prohibition of vehicles from entering, waiting or proceeding along parts of roads within Milton Keynes whilst essential inspections, maintenance and repair works are carried out to the carriageway. The restrictions were brought into effect under the provisions of the above-named Order, which was made by the Council of the on 10th March 2020 under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as first notified on 5th March 2020.

TAKE NOTICE that works are for Defects works, it is necessary to introduce a road closure in order for the works to be carried out.

The following lengths of road will be closed on the following Dates and Times:

1st June 2021 • Hendrix Drive, Crown Hill (Between 9:30am and 12:30pm)

Whilst the following length of road is closed the alternative route is Fulmer Street, Dansteed Way (and vice versa)

• Millers Way V5 to V6 (Between 9:30am and 12:30pm)

Whilst the following length of road is closed the alternative route is Grafton Street, Monks Way, Great Monks Street (and vice versa)

• McConnell Drive, (Between 9:30am and 12:30pm)

Whilst the following length of road is closed the alternative route is Grafton Street, Millers Way (and vice versa)

• Grampian Gate, Winterhill (Between 12:30pm and 4:30pm)

Whilst the following length of road is closed the alternative route is Snowdon Drive, Grace Avenue, Grafton Street (and vice versa)

• Holborn Crescent, Tattenhoe (Between 12:30pm and 4:30pm)

Whilst the following length of road is closed the alternative route is Snelshall Street, Portishead Drive (and vice versa)

• Wincanton Hill, (Between 12:30pm and 4:30pm)

Whilst the following length of road is closed the alternative route is Road, Chepstow Drive (and vice versa)

4th June 2021 • Stratford Road, Wolverton Mill (Between 9:30am and 4:30pm)

Whilst the following length of road is closed the alternative route is Queen Eleanor Street, Millers Way and Great Monks Street (and vice versa)

TAKE NOTICE that works are for Street Lighting Works, it is necessary to introduce a road closure in order for the works to be carried out.

The following lengths of road will be closed on the following Dates and Times:

1st June 2021 • Brickhill Street H4 to H5 (Between 12:30pm and 4:30pm)

Whilst the following length of road is closed the alternative route is Portway, Overstreet, Dansteed Way (and vice versa)

• Dansteed Way V9 to V10 (Between 12:30pm and 4:30pm)

Whilst the following length of road is closed the alternative route is Overstreet, Monks Way, Brickhill Street (and vice versa)

3rd June 2021 • Marlborough Street V7 to H3 (Between 9:30am and 12:30pm)

The above roads are scheduled to be closed only when maintenance or repair works are required and only when indicated by the appropriate traffic signs, which will be erected in advance of any closure.

Access to affected properties will be granted where possible. All other provisions of the Order remain as previously notified on 5th March 2020.
