Tournament System Blitz 5+5 minutes for each player, 11 double rounds in Swiss system (22 games alltogether). Random openings (in each round, every pair must start from the position seen on demonstration table).

Time and Place The tournament will be held in „Dorpat“ conference centre main hall (Turu St. 2, Tartu, Estonia) on Sunday May 20th 2012. -in from 9:45 to 10:30 in the same place, start of the games at 11:00.

The organizers reserve the right to increase the prize fund as they wish. One player may get more than one prize. If two or more players end the competition with equal score, their prizes will be divided between them. General Provisions Tie-breaking method: Buchholz System (without taking account the necessary number of the weakiest opponents to break the tie, starting with all opponents). FIDE blitz rules will be in full force. All disputes will be settled by a referee. Hitting a referee forbidden. Lunch will be offered at the site as well as refreshments during the games.
