Maratita Selefen continued his hitting streak with a line drive to centrefield as New Caledonia opened the score in the first. Elton Santos replaced Flores on the mound with New Caledonia 4 CNMI 3 De los santos (CNMI) made a great play in the hole to end NEW Caledonias 4th.

2011 PACIFIC GAMES August 29th – September 8th , 2011 Mont-Dore ,Noumea, New Caledonia In CNMI’s top 5 Sablan lead off with a hit to centrefield but the innings was complete on ground out double play by Lizama.and through the 6th with 2 outs Jesse IGUEL hit to right field which was misfielded allowing him to score to tie the score 5-5. New Caledonia started their bottom of the 7th with a 2b hit by Mallet who then advanced to 3b. With 2 out a pitching change was forced with prospect Joshua Jones replacing Flores. With a LHP in the windup, Mallet attempted to steal home but was tagged out at the plate for the 3rd out thus ending the New Caledonia rally.

CNMI blew the game open in the 8th innings with some good hitting by De Los Santos LD 7 Sablan -7 , Mallet and Lizama’s 2rbi hit to right field, taking their lead to 11-5 New Caledonia had Omar, Iguel, Maratita to lead off the 9th but failed to get hits of the ever reliable Josh Jones with then game ending New Caledonia 5 CNMI 11
