NCCSP at a Glance The Climate Change Support Programme (NCCSP) is the fi rst signifi cant, Government led initiative, to implement Nepal’s National Adaptation Programme of Action (NAPA), with a focus on priority area 1 – promoting community based adaptation through integrated management of agriculture, water, forest and biodiversity sectors. The Government of Nepal facilitated preparation & implementation of the NAPA and endorsed National Framework on Local Adaptation Plans for Action (LAPA). The aim of which is to integrate climate change adaptation activities into local and national development planning processes to ensure climate resilient development.
