1.2. Response and rehabilitation. The authorities conducted emergency response and rehabilitation of emergency consequences of this week as well as of the earlier period: Table 2. Bishkek, 20 February /Kabar/. Minister of Social Development of the Kyrgyz Republic discussed priority areas of cooperation with the UNDP Resident Representative in the Kyrgyz Republic within the framework of the new strategy document for the social protection of population for 2015-2017.

17 February. Department of monitoring and disaster forecasting presented the book "Monitoring, Forecasting Hazardous Natural Processes and Events on the Territory of the Kyrgyz Republic in 2014" at the meeting of the Scientific and Technical Council of the Interdepartmental Commission for Civil Protection.

1.4. Miscellaneous

Turmush - Despite the closure of the Kyrgyz-Tajik border, smuggling continues. At the meeting with the Interior Ministry district residents demanded to keep close the checkpoints until the Kyrgyz-Tajik border problems are solved, increase the size of the fine against smugglers and speed up the construction of bypass roads.

Bishkek (AKIpress) - Residents of the Issyk-Kul region, whose homes found damaged in the earthquake on January 28, 2013, still didn’t receive state financial aid.

Turmush – 19 February, Kara-Balta city. Restrictions on the gas consumption, entered on February 6, are lifted.

26 February, Bishkek. Meeting of the Disaster Response Coordination Unit Council will take place in Bishkek. First draft of Inter-Agency Contingency Plan will be considered during this meeting.
