Will like better than I thought, sure have a nice place to stay, like the people fine but, ___ the lessons are something terrible. Lizzie got here Mon about 5 00 o'clock. We are in the same classes all but Penmanship and I am at the table with Jim C in that. Say bring that Barnes History when you come to town, and leave it at Rushins if I go to Rockfield and Mother Tongue Book 2, fountain pen.

Listen I may go home with Lizzie Friday evening to go to Rich Pond to the last play at the school, so if you don't see me in town Sat. you may know I have gone home with Lizzie to go to the play.

Old Master of the Manual

O master of the manual this obscure one knows the M.1. because it is at present the rifle of the U.S. Army. The U.S. caliber 30 M.1. is a gas operated clip fed, air cooled, semi-automatic shoulder weapon; The length of the M-1 is 43.6 inches without the bayonet. The weight is 9.5 pounds without the bayonet. It has a maximum effective range of 500 yards. It has 4 right-hand lands and grooves, with a uniform twist of 1 turn in 10 inches. There are 3 main groups of the M-1 the trigger housing group, the stock group and the barrel and receiving group. These six are some of the facts of the United States Rifle caliber 30 M-1.
