Introduction

This Executive Summary (ES) describes in narrative the Purpose of this ES, Jadara University’s Vision, its Mission & Values. In this ES, we have included an overview of the programs that are offered at our campus and some other details about the Facilities and University Population and Community.

Purpose

This Executive Summary is to provide you with a clear overview about Jadara University in Jordan.

Jadara University is located in the northern part of Jordan and caters to all cities around the Area. Not only that, but also caters to Gulf & Neighbor countries. Jadara University offers high education to the community around the region and attracts ambitious students who are willing to enroll in Under-Graduate or Post-Graduate Programs.

Description of the University

Jadara University is a well-known university in Jordan as a Quality Education Provider. Jadara University has acquired a distinguished position among national and Arab universities in Education through excellent creation and application of knowledge as its VISION to enrich lives of individuals and contribute to a sustainable development of society. Lead by Jadara Corporation of Education which is established as a non-profitable educational institution (documents are attached) represented by Chairman of Board of Directors Dr. Shukri Marashdeh and University President Prof. Saleh Oqeili. The University is accredited by the Ministry of High Education and Scientific Research, a member of the” Union of Arab Universities” and a member of the “International Association of Universities (IAU)”based in France. Recently the university got certified as a member of “International Union of Universities (IUU)” and a member of “Federation of the Universities of the Islamic World (FUIW)” as well. The University is keen to develop its vision and mission continuously through strategic planning and continuous development of its programs and Scientific research in line with the needs of Global markets by qualified Faculty Members and Leaders. Jadara University offers Undergraduate and Post-Graduate Studies. The University caters to 23 Different Specializations in Undergraduate Program and 7 Specializations in Post-Graduate Program.

Entry Requirements for Graduate Programs

1. Candidates must hold a Bachelor’s Degree from a university that is recognized by “Ministry of High Education and Scientific Research” of Jordan. 2. Candidates must hold a Bachelor's degree or its equivalent with a minimum grade point average of (Good). (Satisfactory) or equivalent may be considered for admission to the master's program with allowance rate of 10% of seats. 3. Candidates must provide scores for a Standard English Language proficiency test like TOEFL or any accepted equivalent. Incentives and Discounts at Jadara University

Recently, the Chairman of Board of Directors Dr. Shukri Marashdeh has introduced

“Refa’iy Marashdeh” Grant to support students in-need. Grants’ gross value can reach up to 50,000 JOD annually.

Additionally, Jadara University offers the following discounts:

 Student who is among the first 10 achievers in Jordanian High School Diploma of all academic branches is entitled to a full coverage grant.  50% discount on Credit Hour Fees for students with (90% or higher GPA in Jordanian High School Diploma).  25% discount on Credit Hour Fees for students with (80% -89%) GPA in Jordanian High School Diploma.  1st & 2nd Semester Grant: for Highest students’ GPAs of first and second semesters.  Summer Semester Discount: 50% for the Highest GPA in each department, 30% for the 2nd highest GPA and 20% for the 3rd highest GPA.  10% discount on Credit Hour Fee for students with (84% or higher) GPA /other than highest achievers mentioned above.  10% discount for any family member who works for the Army, Police, and Security Forces.  10% discount for siblings of families working for the Ministry of Education.  15% discount for Jadara University Employees and their siblings.  Siblings Discount: - 10% discount on Credit Hour Fee for the 1st sibling - 10% discount on Credit Hour Fee for the 2nd sibling - 20% discount on Credit Hour Fee for the 3rd sibling

 Should multiple discounts apply, a student is entitled only for the highest discount mentioned above. The student, however, shall maintain his/her right of applying for academic grants together with keeping any other deserved discounts. (Except for Students of Pharmacy and Engineering Faculties)
