EXHIBITIONS Amber and her team comission local artists and actively curate shows and exhibitions, as well as artist talks and workshops. This year the Vancouver Arts Centre hosted 16 exhibitions and attracted an audience of more than 29,000!

ARTISTS IN RESIDENCE The Vancouver Arts Centre host visiting artists each year at their residency cottage to research our region and engage with our community. The artist in residence program brings new ideas, builds local skills and enhances networks for our local artists.

MUSIC AND PERFORMING ARTS Amber and the team at Vancouver Arts Centre often partner with other arts organisations to run events throughout the year which profile local musicians and performing artists, as well as encourage community members to get involved.

ART IN THE PUBLIC DOMAIN The Vancouver Arts Centre team look after the City’s Art in the Public Domain Policy and Guidelines and provide support, advice and information to community groups, artists and developers who are interested in commissioning or creating public art, whether it’s a mural, sculpture or something else entirely.
