PLANNING APPLICATION 16/06690/OUT – Outline application relating to access. Demolition of existing buildings/structures and erection of 14 residential dwellings with modified access from Roman Road.

I refer to the Council’s previous response to this application, dated 26 Apr 2019, in which the Council supported the application subject to three conditions.

Following further discussions, Laverstock and Ford Parish Council requires two additional conditions to be added to its support. The Parish Council believes that these are necessary if the application is approved with access off the C287.

Laverstock and Ford Parish Council SUPPORTS this application subject to the three conditions identified in its response dated 26 Apr 2019 together with the following two additional conditions which the Council believes strengthens the case for access to the Farmyard site via Hampton Park and not the Country Park.

1. If the application is approved with access off the C287, appropriate security, to be agreed with the Parish Council, must be provided to prevent unauthorised 3 or 4 wheeled vehicles gaining access to the Country Park from the roadway to the development.

2. If the application is approved with access off the C287, no land forming part of the Country Park will be required for the construction of the roadway to the development or its associated passing point.
