Water Mission Earns Navigator’s 4-star Rating for 13th Consecutive Year Water Mission Also Awarded ‘Perfect Score’ in Financial Health & Accountability

Charleston, S.C. – October 22, 2019 – Water Mission, a nonprofit Christian engineering organization, was awarded ’s 4-star rating for the 13th year in a row, as well as a perfect score in Financial Health and Accountability & Transparency categories. As a major organization in the United States, Charity Navigator evaluates nonprofit organizations on their fiscal responsibility and governance.

According to Charity Navigator, the charities honored on the “Perfect Score” list conduct their work in a fiscally responsible way. They also adhere to good governance and other best practices, minimizing the chance of unethical activities. To earn a perfect 100-point overall score, an organization must earn a perfect score in both the Financial Health and Accountability & Transparency categories.

Less than one percent of the thousands of charities rated by Charity Navigator have earned perfect scores.
