Dartmouth Helmet In 1965, Bob Blackman, Dartmouth’s innovative Hall of Fame coach, sought a unique source of pride to identify Dartmouth’s suc- cessful football team. He found the answer in a helmet design that became as much a trademark for Dartmouth football as the famed “winged” helmet design that Fritz Crisler brought to Michigan from Princeton in 1938. The distinctive design was used from 1965-86. It was restored in 1999. 17-Time IvyDartmouth League Football Football 2013 Champion Dartmouth Overall Individual Statistics (as of Oct 26, 2013) Big Green FootballAll games 2013 Stats
