Getting to the venue from The Hague Central Station (Den Haag Centraal) 1. The Hague Central Station is easily accessible from both surrounding . Additionally, most international train rides (e.g. from Belgium, Germany or France) start and end at this station or at Den Haag Hollands Spoor (HS), which is a 5 minute train ride away. 2. Exit the station towards Rijnstraat. 3. Take the HTM tramway number 9 towards Scheveningen Nord. 4. Get off at the “Madurodam” station and walk towards the Madurodam Park. 5. On arrival at the venue, make your way to the first floor where the symposium will be held.

Consider using an OV-chipkaart. You need to have enough money on the card for your journey. Alternatively, you can load a day pass (€ 7.70) onto your chipkaart or buy a paper ticket.

For short stays in The Hague, you can purchase 2hr tickets, one day tickets or three day tickets. You can buy these from the ticket machines lines 1, 6, 12 and 16 (payment with coins, a debit or credit card) and from ticket machines in the RandstadRail tram (lines 2, 3, 4 and 19) with coins only, and in the R-net trams (line 2, 9, 11, 15 and 17) with coins, a debit or credit card. It can also be bought at the bus drivers, where you can pay by debit or credit card.

An anonymous OV-chipkaart for can be purchased at railway station ticket machines and at a few selected stores including Albert Heijn, Bruna and Primera.
